What is Hooplandia?
Hooplandia is the Northeast's Ultimate 3x3 Tourney + Festival, founded in 2023 and quickly becoming a cornerstone event in the Northeast. More than just a sporting competition, Hooplandia embodies the spirit of community, inclusivity, and athletic excellence, providing a platform for players of all ages and backgrounds to come together and celebrate the game they love. As a vibrant celebration of basketball culture and camaraderie, Hooplandia holds immense significance, fostering connections, promoting healthy competition, and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
Where do I park?
On-site parking is available in Lot 9, located at 875 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield MA.
How much does it cost to park?
On Friday, June 19 parking will be free. On Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21 on-site parking is available for $10 (cash only) in Lot 9. Located at 875 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield MA.
Are coolers allowed onsite?
Please be advised that coolers and outside food or beverages are NOT permitted on the tournament grounds. This is for the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all participants and spectators.
If you arrive with a cooler or outside food, security will ask you to return it to your vehicle before entering.
Plenty of food and beverage options will be available onsite throughout the event.
Tournament Information
When is team check in?
You must check in for both Saturday and Sunday play.
• To avoid long lines on Saturday morning, you're encouraged to check in on Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• If you’re unable to check in Friday, you may do so on Saturday between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM.
• For Sunday play, check-in is available on Saturday before you leave (by 6:30 PM) or on Sunday starting at 8:00 AM.

How much is the team entry fee?
YOUTH DIVISIONS
Youth (6-8U) - $200
Youth (9U-14U) - $275
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS
High School (15U-18U) - $275
ADULT DIVISIONS - $290
College (19-23 years old)

50U (36-50)
OG's (51+)

Can I play on two different teams?
Yes, you can play on two different teams but Hooplandia is not responsible for any scheduling conflicts that may occur between the two teams.
What division should I register my team in?
Please select your division based on your age as of September 1 of the current year. Players may play in an older division but are not permitted to play in a younger division under any circumstance.
The minimum age for participants is 6 years old as of September 1 of the current year.
Can I register a team with players of different ages?
Yes, however you must register your team in the division that corresponds to the oldest player on the team. For example, if you have a team with children who are 7, 8, and 9 years old you must register their team in the division that corresponds to the 9 year old.
Players can always play up in divisions but at no time can players play down a division.
What happens if it rains?
Our facilities enable us to move all courts indoors in case of rain, ensuring the tournament can proceed regardless of the weather.
What do we get if we win our division?
Division winners will receive the following:
• Each player will receive a winners shirt
• Each player will receive a medal
• Division winners will have their team name displayed at The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame
What divisions have a cash prize and how much do teams win?
Cash Prize Eligibility for Adult Divisions
Cash prizes will be awarded to the following adult divisions, contingent upon a minimum of five teams being registered and actively participating in each division:
Ages 19–30: $1,000
Ages 31–39: $1,000
Ages 40 and above: $1,000
Hoops & Heroes: $1,000
Pro-Am Division: $2,500
Please note that if a division does not meet the minimum team requirement, the corresponding cash prize will not be awarded.
