The Ball Rolling: Panini Hoophall Classic 2026

Hooplandia intern, Anthony Ardolino, sets up a table at the Blake Arena at Springfield College in anticipation of the Hoophall Classic.

This weekend brings the 2026 Panini Hoophall Classic to Springfield, Mass. This is the No. 1 showcase for high school and preparatory school basketball in North America, and it’s run by our event partners at the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The classic attracts top-ranking talent and major names in athletics to the Pioneer Valley. This year’s lineup will feature 56 players in ESPN’s Top 100 from the Class of 2026. To accommodate a record number of marquee matchups, this year also introduces new overflow sites to the program.

Our street team, led by Anthony Ardolino, will be on site throughout the weekend, giving away merchandise with a spin-to-win wheel, t-shirt toss and other games; registering new and returning players for our tourney; and answering questions about all things Hooplandia.

Here’s where to find them:

Friday

  • Blake Arena at Springfield College, All Day

Saturday

  • Springfield College Fieldhouse, 10am-3pm

Additionally, Hooplandia information and a QR code to our website can be found in event programs, and we sponsored the VIP lounge reserved for coaches, scouts and other prominent figures from the basketball community.

“We’re excited to once again be a part of the Hoophall Classic,” says Drew Dawson, Hooplandia General Manager. “This event continues to be the top high school and prep event in North America. It provides us a unique platform to continue to promote the excitement around the rise of FIBA 3x3 and our June festival.”

Like Hooplandia, Hoophall celebrates this history of basketball as much as it does the sport's future, so there is no better place for the event than in basketball's birthplace. We’ll see you at Hoophall, players and parents!

A national treasure trove of fun
